Christmas Concert 2010

This year’s Christmas concert took place on Tuesday 28th December in St Martin’s Church – Caerphilly.

The concert was initially planned for the 17th December, but had to be postponed to Tuesday the 28th December (the fourth day of Christmas) due to heavy snow fall in South Wales.

Unfortunately, not all choir members were able to make the rearranged date, so we made a few adjustment to the programme and the “reduced” choir entertained a large audience who were encouraged to participate in an impromptu rendition of “The 12 days of Christmas.”

We were joined by soloists Leanne Talbot (Soprano) and Tim Hill (Organ) who graced us with superb performances.

Our delayed efforts were enthusiastically received and our guest, Wayne David MP was lavish in his praise for the choir.
